Berwick, a Wonderful Place to Stay
A wonderful website with some exciting features! Don't miss the 360 degree 'panoramic views' - these really are stunning! Mac Users beware! - Internet Explorer required! Let's explore, taking a stroll specially designed for the curious from the old 17th century bridge over the Tweed, up West St, and past the Guildhall into Marygate. Then into Church Street, where you will find our self-catering accommodation, minutes away from the Elizabethan Ramparts. So start by clicking on the map icon. If this is your first visit, you are recommended to enter the old town via the Old Bridge, so click on the red square on the bottom left of the green map. Move your pointer up the roadway towards the Guildhall clock tower until your pointer changes, then click again. The top of West Street brings you to the Guildhall,up Church St past the location of 2 The Courtyard, to the wonderful Elizabethan Ramparts, a superb continuous walkway which encircles Old Berwick.

An exciting site giving lots of ideas for things to do on a day out,adults or children, whatever the weather. There are webcams at the centre giving grandstand views of bird nesting and seals etc. The Isle of May and Bass Rock are just a sample of these. Why not take a look at the webcam 'windows' actually on their website!
This seems to be an excellent site for the serious yachting enthusiast. North Berwick is a splendid destination for a good day out!
